West Coast Run May 20th - Lakeland Motor Museum

Well another fine day....don't know how I keep managing it for COWS events. Start again was from the fantastic Cafe Cargo in Foulridge. The route went via Gargrave, Eshton to Airton then over the hills to descend into the back of Settle. A slight variation for some via Knight Stainforth a narrow road running parallel to join the Horton in Ribblesdale "B" road at Helwith Bridge. Then onwards to the magnificent Ribbleshead viaduct. Left towards Ingleton then right down the little used single track road at Chapel le Dale into Ingleton to eventually turn right on the A65 to Kirkby Lonsdale. Left on "B" towards Whittington then over the fells to Burton in Lonsdale, Holme and to join the A6 at Milnthorpe. Past Levens Hall to join the coastal road to Newby Bridge and the Lakeland Motor Museum We had pride of place right outside the entrance. Thank you to all that attended in your splendid vehicles. An impressive Museum packed with cars and many forgotten motoring memorabilia.
