There are currently no more plans to publish the further COWS newsletters on the website.
If you wish to join COWS you will receive a newsletter bi monthly as part of your club fees of £10.00. 

Chairman's Chat: December 2007

Once again we are approaching Christmas and New Year.

How quick the year seems to have passed.  I've never known as many events cancelled because of bad weather, I hope you've all sent your nominations for officers and committee back to the secretary.

The last Sunday in October saw us on a coach trip along with DHVC members to Whitby, where we were given a warm welcome and a conducted tour of the new Lifeboat Station, and shown the new inshore Lifeboat by the coxswain and station manager and crew.  The al weather lifeboat came in from exercise and people were allowed to look around.  Before we left the station manager and coxswain thanked us for our support over the years.

The club is looking for a new Newsletter Editor and membership secretary in the New Year, Mike and Anne are retiring, my thanks go to both of them for all their hard work on behalf of the club over many years.  I am sure you will join with me in wishing them all the best for the future.

My thanks also go to all the officers and committee and to all who helped to organise things over the year.

Can I on behalf of the committee and myself wish you all a Merry Christmas? and a happy New Year of Motoring and look forward to seeing you all next year.
